WHAT WE DO
Founded in 1974, our organization represents Tallahassee’s career firefighters. We protect their rights, negotiate on their behalf, and ensure our members have the tools and support needed to do the job. In 2015, we expanded to include the dedicated firefighters serving Wakulla County.
Tallahassee Professional Firefighters advocates for our members and their departments at the local level, working with elected and appointed officials. We also work through the Florida Professional Firefighters and the International Association of Fire Fighters to support funding, national standards, and legislation at the state and federal levels.
