COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Service does not end when the call is cleared. Since 2009, the Tallahassee Professional Firefighters Foundation has helped Local 2339 members turn community support into direct action across Tallahassee, Leon County, Wakulla County, and the Big Bend.

Each year, our firefighters and community partners:

Provide Thanksgiving turkeys to local families
Collect essential personal care and hygiene items for local veterans
Raise funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Association through Fill the Boot

ANNUAL TURKEY DRIVE

Each Thanksgiving season, Local 2339 members join community partners to place turkeys in the hands of local families and help make the holiday table a little fuller.

MDA FILL THE BOOT

Local 2339 firefighters proudly carry forward the IAFF tradition, raising funds for MDA research, care, and advocacy for people living with neuromuscular diseases.

VET BOX COLLECTION

We collect essential personal care and hygiene items for local veterans, then deliver the organized donations through trusted community partners.
